OIL ITINERARIES

The most notable product of Lucca us surely extra virgin olive oil, well known even in ancient times for its delicate flavor and low acidity, brilliant golden color and fragrance. The oil of Lucca is ideal for any diet and is appreciated by gourmets for its fluidity and lightness.

Taste different virgin olive oils in our “Cantinetta”. Among these oils are the Tenuta’s DOP (Second prize in its category (intense) as best olive oil of Lucca DOP 2009), oil from our neighbours at Tenuta di Valgiano, oil from Fattoria Montechiari, oil from Villa Baldaccini,…

From November to January we can organize visits to the olive oil mill.

During the month of November you can enjoy our themed menu. Dinning with olive oil

• Cannellini beans with extra virgin olive oil from the Tenuta and steamed prawns
• Paccheri pasta with baby tomatoes, basil and extra virgin olive oil from Tenuta San Pietro
• ‘Involtini’ of courgette and swordfish marinated in oil from Montechiari
• steamed parsley potatoes.

…and to finish: chocolate mousse perfumed with extra virgin olive oil.

Since 2009 the Tenuta’s oil has DOP certification. In 2009 it also won 2nd prize as best extra virgin olive oil Lucca DOP.

You can buy bottles of oil 0.5 L or 0.75 L that can be delivered in Italy and Europe.

The Tenuta offers clients the chance to choose between 2 themed packages. You can spend a week helping with the olive harvest or give yourself a break from routine at the weekend.
