Cycling World Championships Lucca, Tuscany to host the 2013 Sporting Event of the Year

Five years after Varese 2008 and this year's event in Limburg (The Netherlands) between 15 and 23/09, Italy is set to host the 2013 UCI Road World Championships.

After beating off all its competitors, the Union Cycliste Internationale has chosen the combination "Firenze-Lucca-Montecatini-Pistoia" for millions of fans to follow their sporting heroes along the narrow roads of Tuscany in this spectacular event.
